Lacey/Geuliette Groups
Students start each class with a short writing assignment. Today’s prompt:
What are some things that you struggle with and how do you cope?
Romeo Group
Students analyzed the Robert Frost poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay”. They also wrote about how it relates to the characters in the book.
Cagney Group
I split the Cagney Group into two reading groups. This will better suit the individual needs of the students as well as allow me to work with the students as smaller groups.
Group One finished The Masque of the Red Death and are working on a One-pager in class.
Group Two has started the first few chapters of The Life of Pi. They were working on comprehension questions as they read today.
