Papers should be emailed to me no later than Monday, June 3rd.

Please be sure to grammar check your papers. Also make sure in-text citations are correct. You should also have a works cited page.

I’m extending the due date for the paper to Monday, June 3rd. I would love to see a rough draft before then, so that I can help with revisions, but a rough draft is no longer required.

Students brainstormed a list of topics in class. Sample topics included: Teens as agents of change, the long-term effects of bullying, Claudette Colvin’s contribution to the Civil Rights Movement, the importance of compassion and empathy, the importance of being a good listener.

They also completed an outline to assist in writing the initial draft. This should be an opinion piece. So, additional research is not required.

This paper should be two typed pages, double spaced. The maximum font size is 12 pt.

Students participated in March Madness – Poetry Edition. They went head-to-head and competed by reciting poems. Winners of each bracket were decided by applause.
